On 11-30-24, the Washington Post penned an article that: "Canada’s Trudeau meets with Trump at Mar-a-Lago after tariff threat", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

"Trudeau told reporters on Saturday morning that he had “an excellent conversation” with Trump during his dinner at Mar-a-Lago, but he walked away from the press when asked if tariffs were discussed. Trump’s transition team did not reply to a request for comment." (As stated in the Washington Post article.)
Well, there you go again. Get ready for another political period of let's not tell the press anything about what we are doing so they can't hold us accountable if it goes wrong. And yet it's the taxes we're paying that's supporting their political charade.

"Charade - noun, an absurd pretense intended to create a pleasant or respectable appearance:"

On 11-26=24, the Washington Post penned an article that: "Mexico and Canada push back against Trump’s tariff threats", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

How disgusting to find that the present administration had cooperation agreements working with both neighboring countries. Agreements that had positively reduced and improved immigration problems, yet our media continued to emphasize disturbing bluster from fear-mongers. Which proves again, the electorate craves entertainment above qualifications from government leadership candidates. Sad.

On 11-15-24, the Washington Post penned an Opinion that: "There’s never been a transition like this one", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

There is an obvious statistic that points to the incompetence of Trump as an elected Administrator of the Executive Branch. In his first 4 years, (2017 to 202l), in that capacity, his administration posted a 92% turnover rate for staffing of his working team.

And you seriously believe Trump has the ability to govern? Anyone?

On 11-11-24, the Washington Post penned an Opinion by Jennifer Rubin that: "Trump can keep campaign promises or be popular. Not both", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Let's not let our attention on Trump's advisor and Cabinet appointees overtake the checks and balances responsibility of our unfettered media. The greatest service that you Ms. Rubin, and your coworkers can be right now is to use your sources and skills to track just what goes on behind and around Trump.

Let's be able to show his true character as a corrupted and incompetent administrator by exposing the unseen mistakes and faults of his appointed staff.  Just like we learned of the true incompetency of his last folly in governance of our country.

On 11-12-24, the Washington Post penned an article that: "What Trump’s win means for the world’s most pressing problems", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

An entire news column on speculation. They haven't a clue how the Dark Clown Trump will act and react. Seems like the print media needs to adopt disclaimer statements for when they be speaking out of turn. And their source material doesn't extend past their personal imagination level.

About a month ago, opinion writer Danny Westneat penned in the Seattle Times: "Who is pulling the plug on Seattle’s public TV — and how to save it", and the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

"In comparison, spending on the City Council itself — its staffers and communication aides — is set to rise by 15% in the next two years, after a big increase last year. One could start the search for money there." (Quoted the article.)

Aha, the problem is discovered. It seems that the positions of elected administrators for our local, state, and federal government have considered themselves so important they must surround themselves with, that's right, administrative professionals that are expected to do the work necessary to make them look good enough for reelection and continuation of their ego trip. And the more elected positions we create...well you get the picture.

On 11-9-24, the Seattle Times penned an opinion by Danny Westneat that: "Whispers from Washougal hint how Democrats went wrong in the election", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Ah Danny, you've broke the code. While political campaign expenditures were put at 16 billion dollars this year, and the untold billions more spent by the media creating a cadre of talking heads whose speculations were only as reliable as their imiginations, the ground swell word of mouth campaign ruled. And the money part only reveals the vulnerability of the electorate, we'd rather be entertained than correctly informed. When are we gonna learn?

On 11-6-24, the Washington Post penned an Analysis that: "Trump votes, and then utters 15 falsehoods in 15 minutes", and on the date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

Why so many Americans would vote for a fraud, a habitual liar that is also a convicted felon is the mystery of the day. Their claims to love of country apparently doesn't include a wise and frugal government. And they doubled down by not voting more Democratic Congressional representatives as an effective check and balance on a rouge President.

Well, be prepared for the consequences.

On 11-3-24, the Washington Post penned an article that: "A chaotic presidential transition could embolden U.S. adversaries", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:

It's about time US citizens began understanding how the threats of countries in the communist block may take advantage of an internal chaos over challenges to our Presidential election which could result in them applying tactical movements that compromise the unity of our united defense.

The worst thing would be a losing candidate mouthing off about taking to the streets in support of them being the actual winner for unsupported reasons. Exactly what Trump did in the 2020 election, and he's given us fair notice he'd do it again. Do not forget that all of Trump's claims of fraudulent voting in 2020 were handled by judicial process and none, let me repeat loudly, NONE were found to have any merit.

In the 1960 election John F Kennedy's popular vote margin over Richard Nixon was just 118,574 votes of 68,838,219 votes cast. Still the Electoral College provided the necessary margin of winning vote and Nixon accepted his defeat.

And just for information, if neither candidate receives the necessary Electoral College vote (270 votes required to win), the determination goes to our House of the People. That's right, the Chamber of the House of Representatives where each state's representatives are given just 1 vote, and their tally picks the winner.

Your attention to the duty of being a worthy citizen in this matter is essential. Be aware that we are a country of millions, and we vote as we please, not as we're told.
