On 7-18-24, the Washington Post penned an Opinion for: "J.D. Vance takes the stage", and on that date the Enlightened Prisoner responded thus:
The fact is nobody in politics is asking for friends, only useful idiots. The Republican National Convention is an example, the Democratic National Convention will be the next.
Vance takes you through his rise from poverty victim to becoming an attorney by the strength of government subsidized funding only to become what? A government subsidized public servant. And now he's on a staged platform asking you to be his friend by hating everything the other party does? And that's going to solve problems? Well, that doesn't make me feel very useful.
