Opinion | Yet another lawsuit shows how abortion bans violate religious freedom, a Wash Post piece and on 10-8-22, the Enlightened Prisoner commented thus:

The Roe vs Wade decision intended, "...that women in the United States had a fundamental right to choose whether to have abortions without excessive government restriction..."

Then President Obama, (a very wise male standard bearer), stated, "...if you don't believe in abortion, don't practice it. But don't foster your religious beliefs on everyone else..."

It seems that a woman's right of choice to spend the greatest portion of their productive life providing, protecting and financially supporting a child of their own creation is an intrinsic value. And is certainly not a value that deserves controlling interference from male-dominated legislatures nor courtrooms. And that is exactly what has happened and why this political carnival is little but an irrational governmental overreach.
