Perspective | Prosecuting Trump would set a risky precedent. Not prosecuting would be worse.

And on 2-19-22, The Enlightened Prisoner commented thus:

How come we spend so much money on Special Prosecutors and Inspector Generals who have given sufficient evidence on Trump and many of his administration principals who have committed actionable offenses yet, time goes by? These are offenses against lawful Constitutional and Federal Statue standards and every effort should be taken to set aside a method to rapidly bring these cases to judicial attention and adjudication.

The longer they lie in solitude the less impact they'll have on rulings which set the bar for performance of civil servants. Which they all are, including the President.
